Mikael Runhem

Mikael is a Swedish serial Internet entrepreneur. He founded the company EPiServer 1994 (under the name ElektroPost), initially focusing on selling email systems.

Over the years EPiServer transformed into a software company and became the de facto standard for Web Content Management systems in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and the U.K. powering several thousand web sites.

EPiServer was sold in 2010 to IK Invest Partners, and that same year, Mikael brought home the Guldmusen Award for β€œIT Entrepreneur of the Year.”

After spending some time advising and funding other startups in Sweden, he returned to the entrepreneurial driving seat and founded Pergite Software in January 2014.
