Is Your Product as Easy to Use as You Think?

TL;DR usually NO.

Does it matter? Probably.

Design is important and fun because it applies to everything, user interface design, software design, business design… even event design. Drawing on the work in his latest [excellent] book, ‘How Design Makes the World’, Scott will help you understand why everyone has an impact on design, why design matters and will empower you to ask better questions about your product. In this interactive session Scott will show you how : to evaluate your usability effectively; to tell if your business would benefit from better design (which isn’t always true), and how to make it happen.

Scott has spoken at BoS twice before, on inspiring creativity in your organization and on his year without pants where he shared his experiences of working at Automattic, a fully remote organization, when spending a year without wearing pants was remarkable.
