Although I’ve been with Business of Software for just over a year and being part of our online events, my experience at the Europe In-Person Conf felt like beginning a new job.
One thing I saw very quickly is that regardless if folks are supporting, attending, or speaking the networking that happens between the talks is very much focused on long term relationship building. I had heard that BoS was not a speed networking style conference, but to see it in person was another level. I think it is what divides us from other trade shows/conferences/large exhibition tech events: our community.
I felt welcomed with open arms and not once as though I wasn’t meant to be there.
I noticed this particularly when speaking with our supporters during coffee breaks, by the bar, and at dinner. Stories were told, challenges were shared and there was a real buzz of excitement going around the room.
For 2022, we had three new supporters join the BoS Community; Workato, Quietlight & Capchase and we welcomed back familiar faces from Kevel & FE International. I could go on and on about the brilliant work all these companies do but I could never do any of them justice. If you’d like me to link you up with one of our supporters, just say the word and I’ll happily make an introduction for you.
To our supporters: I’d like to, personally, thank you all for your advice, support, and guidance throughout the conference and your commitment to Business of Software. It was wonderful to meet you all and I look forward to seeing you again for future Business of Software events.

If you are interested in joining us online or in-person and would like to discuss supporterships with me, send me an email and we can set up a chat – always happy to talk BoS goodness with awesome people!
