Bootstrap worked. Now you’re staring at an empty missions folder.
You ran Bootstrap. It generated something impressive. And now there’s a missions folder sitting empty, because nobody’s told you which piece of work to put in it first, or how to build it without being afraid you’ll break something.

How we solve it
One mission, scoped properly, built safely, is worth more than a folder full of ideas nobody’s touched. Over two sessions, one week apart, you find the mission already sitting in your system, turn it into a scoped brief, and run it, with a safety net explained up front so a mission that doesn’t work out breaks nothing.
What you get
Two two-hour sessions, one week apart.
WEDNESDAY, 23 SEP
What a Mission is in your OS
A discrete piece of work with an owner and a decide-by date. You identify the most pressing mission already sitting in your own system, get introduced to Mission Shaper, the tool that turns a rough goal into a scoped brief, and leave the room having said out loud what your mission is. Homework: run Mission Shaper on it, and start it.
WEDNESDAY, 30 SEP
The Return
What happened, what you learned running it for a week, what worked and what didn’t, and how to fold this into ongoing habit rather than a one-off exercise.
You leave with one real mission built on your own business, not a generic example, and a safety net you understand.
This is for founders who’ve completed Bootstrap and Workshop and want one safe, real win before going further. If you haven’t completed both, start there.
Who’s in the room
One facilitator, already running the system.

Mark Littlewood
Founder, Business of Software
Mark has run Business of Software for 19 years, two annual conferences, more than 400 practitioner talks, and a community of founders building software companies that last. He has spent that time working out what actually separates the businesses that make it from those that don’t. This workshop is built on the same principle as every BoS event: helping entrepreneurs build better businesses alongside other smart people.

What’s included in the workshop fee?
Two two-hour sessions – 23 + 30 September, 11am UK. Access to core systems and workshop materials.
You will leave with a working system you can run in your business right away.
What tools do I need before I start?
Claude Desktop, a Claude Pro or Team plan (required for Cowork mode), and to already be using Claude in some capacity in your business. Prerequisite: Bootstrap and Workshop complete.
How is this different from an AI tools course?
This is not a tools course. It won’t teach you prompting basics or help you choose between platforms. It is about building the operating system underneath your tools, the documented rules, values, decision boundaries, and memory that allow anything you delegate to actually run without you holding it together. There are no paid speaker slots, no frameworks being sold, no sponsor content. The cohort is capped at 12 because peer quality and challenge are part of what you’re paying for, not a marketing tactic.
