LIMITED TO 12 COMPANIES

Roadmaps get the blame for over-promising and either delivering late or delivering underwhelming results (or both). In this hands-on masterclass, legendary product leader Bruce McCarthy walks you through his process for building a product roadmap, by establishing your product’s vision and aligning on your product themes, and prioritising your roadmap with business objectives, gaining buy-in across stakeholders, and maximising your team’s impact.

You will meet in four 2-hour sessions over 4 consecutive days. Before each session you’ll be assigned a few short videos introducing some key concepts, as well as one or two quick pre-work assignments.

Each session will include teaching from Bruce, plus breaking into virtual work teams to collaborate on a product roadmap. Teams will share their work for feedback and encouragement from Bruce and from the larger group. There will be plenty of time for group discussion, Q&A, and a dash of humour – even some arts and crafts!

You’ll take away a roadmap for a fictitious product, new skills and frameworks to help you make your roadmap work for you in your organisation, a set of reusable templates for roadmapping, new connections, and confidence in your roadmap-building abilities. Each participant will also have the opportunity to book a 1:1 consultation with Bruce after the class to review your real-world roadmap, get feedback and tips, and ask your burning questions.

The Masterclass is limited to just 12 attendees, to ensure attendees get maximum value.

“I really loved the roadmap masterclass! Going to a conference or reading a book is nice and gives me a new perspective and insights, but creating a roadmap in practice helped me to understand the process thoroughly.”

Malwina Stepien, Masterclass attendee
