Stop rediscovering what your customers already told you
Somewhere in your call recordings, your interview notes, your support threads, is the answer to the question you asked in your last planning meeting. Someone already told you. You just can’t find it, so you’re guessing again.
That’s the cost. You have plenty of customer insight, scattered across a dozen conversations nobody will ever listen back to. Every time a decision comes up, someone re-asks a question your customers already answered.
You leave with a better understanding of what your customers are thinking: clear, prioritized ideas about how to serve them better.

How we solve it
You don’t need more customer conversations. You need a system that catches what’s already in the ones you’re having.
Over four weeks, you build a working signal pipeline on top of your BoS OS: you decide which documents deserve to hold this information (your FAQ, your roadmap, your objections register, your jobs-to-be-done map, whatever fits your business), and which conversations feed them. Then you watch it run, live. Every signal gets reviewed and approved by you before it writes anywhere; nothing goes in unseen.
By the end, it’s running on its own, every week, whether or not you remember to think about it.

What you get
Four two-hour sessions, one a week.
SESSION 01
Set the system up
Which documents matter, what feeds them, and how confidential material gets screened out before it’s ever seen.
SESSION 02
The moment it goes live
A run against one of your own conversations, start to finish, extraction through to a document write.
SESSION 03
Where it gets sharper
Tuning what the system’s already caught, widening what feeds it, and finally using the documents you’ve built.
SESSION 04
Set it running for good
The weekly cadence turned on, tuned against a month of use, before you leave the room.
You leave with a working customer signal system already routing to your own documents.
This is for founders who already have a BoS OS running, with customer conversations happening, and who are tired of losing the good ones. If you haven’t run Bootstrap and at least one Workshop pass yet, or you don’t have a confidentiality boundary defined, start there. This module assumes both are already in place.
What you’ll need
The setup is straightforward.
If you’re not already using Claude in some capacity, this workshop isn’t the right starting point.
Who’s in the room
Two facilitators, eleven peers, no audience.

Tim Barker
CEO and Co-Founder, Attain IP
Tim Barker has founded five startups and seen the startup journey from every angle. He sold his first company to Salesforce, spent five years in the formative age of cloud computing, taken companies public, and scaled them to several hundred people. Tim is a keen advocate for transparency, eating humble pie, and owning your mistakes. He is also a lifetime learner, which is part of why he felt compelled to ask: “What happens if you’re AI-native from day zero?”

Mark Littlewood
Founder, Business of Software
Mark has run Business of Software for 19 years, two annual conferences, more than 400 practitioner talks, and a community of founders building software companies that last. He has spent that time working out what actually separates the businesses that make it from those that don’t. This workshop is built on the same principle as every BoS event: helping entrepreneurs build better businesses alongside other smart people.

What’s included in the workshop fee?
Four two-hour sessions, one per week from 29 September, 11am UK. Access to core systems and workshop materials.
You will leave with a working system you can run in your business right away.
What tools do I need before I start?
Claude Desktop, a Claude Pro or Team plan (required for Cowork mode), and to already be using Claude in some capacity in your business. The bootstrap and workshop skill suite is provided on enrolment, set up is needed before your first session.
How is this different from an AI tools course?
This is not a tools course. It won’t teach you prompting basics or help you choose between platforms. It is about building the operating system underneath your tools, the documented rules, values, decision boundaries, and memory that allow anything you delegate to actually run without you holding it together. There are no paid speaker slots, no frameworks being sold, no sponsor content. The cohort is capped at 12 because peer quality and challenge are part of what you’re paying for, not a marketing tactic.
