Business of Software Conference USA is one month away. This year, we’ve refocused on the topic of growth and taking your company to the next level. You can see the full schedule here to see what we mean.
To match the theme, we have a line-up of knowledgeable and experienced industry specialists, speaking on topics close to their heart. Before the conference however, you have the chance to hang out with them and preview their talks, as well as pitch your questions to them.
We have a trio of hangouts coming in the next couple of weeks that you should know about.
Dr. Alexander Osterwalder is the lead author of the two international bestsellers “Business Model Generation” and “Value Proposition Design”, passionate entrepreneur, and demanded speaker.
He co-founded Strategyzer, a software company specializing in tools and content for strategic management, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
Dr. Osterwalder invented the Business Model and Value Proposition Canvas, two strategic management tools to design, test, build, and manage business models and value propositions.
On August 27th, he will be joining us for a discussion, reviewing his Business of Software Conference Europe 2014 talk ‘Tools to Help Your Business’ and will also be offering a small preview of his Business of Software Conference USA 2015 talk: ‘How to Design Organizational Culture’.

Peldi is a programmer turned entrepreneur. He founded and runs Balsamiq, an 18-person, bootstrapped, geographically dispersed independent software company that’s been growing organically since 2008.
Peldi has been sharing his adventure as a “rookie entrepreneur who inadvertently struck gold with a simple idea” at the Business of Software conference along the way, though he swears that he learns more than he teaches each time.
At Business of Software Conference USA 2015, Peldi will be looking back on the most painful moments of Balsamiq’s growth. Sharing insight as the company grows and grows. You can join the hangout

Once upon a time, Patrick McKenzie was an engineer. Then he had an idea for some software and discovered that, while programming it was easy, marketing it was not.
Since then, he has graduated to full time entrepreneur status, with a side order of being hilarious and informative in equal measures on his blog Kalzumeus.
Patrick will be returning to Business of Software USA to give another great talk after many great contributions over the years of speaking at Business of Software.
Register here, and join us on September 3rd to pose your questions to Patrick directly.
