See You in Court! New Venue for BoS Europe | Courthouse Hotel

We want to offer our guests at Business of Software Conference the best possible experience when they attend. We didn’t expect to be taking them to court.

For many regular attendees BoS is a place to come to step back and think about what is important in their business. The right location and atmosphere is a big part of that. It’s important to us that the room is just right – we want speakers and audience to have a connection. We want people to feel looked after and not worry about anything other than spending time with other good people.

Today, we’re letting you know that we are moving the location of Business of Software Conference Europe to the Courthouse Hotel, Shoreditch. This is partly because the majority of attendees who are coming from outside London are staying there and reducing travel time between locations just makes sense. It’s also because the facilities are superb (there is a brand new private cinema space, networking areas, space for the evening events including a two lane bowling alley) all in one fantastic location.

The hotel is small and frankly not used to hosting such illustrious guests…

Previously, the hotel was a courthouse and hosted the Kray Twins and Dick Turpin for short stays before they were sentenced. The opportunity to bring everyone together in such a fantastic environment was too good to miss.

The Courthouse Hotel – BoS Under and On One Roof

Previous attendees will agree we only choose the best venues to hold our events and this year is no different. We’ve found the beautifully renovated Courthouse Hotel set in the trendy Shoreditch, London. We love the history of this hotel and how they have kept many of the original features.

The Courthouse Hotel is a Grade II listed Baroque styled building and was formerly the Old Street Magistrates’ Court (1903-1996) and Police Station (1903-1996).  The old Police Station now serves as a bar where you can enjoy a ‘slammer’ in one of the cells turned VIP booths that once held Dick Turpin and the Kray twins. And if you take breakfast you will be seated in the old Courtroom but don’t worry no one will be judging you on this occasion!

At the Courthouse you will adore the old fused with the modern.  Not only will you enjoy the conference in the new private cinema

You can challenge fellow attendees to a game or two in the bowling alley or hangout at the rooftop bar taking in the panoramic views. If you’re staying (hotel residence is not compulsory to attend conference), you can relax in the spa or workout in the gym to your heart’s content.
